The Hoenderloo Groep: Mail registration

The OpenIMS based mail registration within the Hoenderloo Groep is an Intranet integrated solution and recently delivered by OpenSesame ICT.

Incoming mail is centrally registered and allocated to the proper department and /or employee. Employees then can use the Intranet environment for easy consultation of the registered mail per department or on per employee basis. Employees can confirm the mail registration, modify or forward it to another department and / or employee. With each registration, a number of basic information, such as the name and address is registered. By searching, on the basis of the registrated information, mail can be found back. At this way it is always clear which mail was received and how it was handeled.

The OpenIMS platform was already successful used for several years within the Hoenderloo Groep to manage its Intranet. With the implementation of mail registration within the intranet the Hoenderloo Groep puts a first step in full digital mail handling with OpenIMS. In the future, OpenIMS Document Management Server will be put in place for further digitizing.
