Pastries to celebrate Kennisplein going live

Who takes medication, wants to trust it’s the right medication. However well you read the medication leaflet, you are still at the mercy of the pharmaceutists care. Be reassured: the NVZA (Dutch Association of Hospital Pharmaceutists) has her business well organised. Supported by OpenSesame ICT business consultant Dennis Bouwmeester.

Dennis is proud, especially of the interface between SugarCRM and Kennisplein (virtual knowledge square), as is NVZA: ,,Immaculate. Going live without errors. All reports we received were login questions en users that were attributed to wrong groups. No bugs or errors in the software at all!”

25.000 items

At Kennisplein information is exchanged and hospitals are compared. Over 800 members, plus many external visitors, monthly check 25.000 items. Dennis: ,,The beauty of it is that Kennsiplein is very dynamic. Information is stored in one place only and offered through several different channels. The basis for the information hospital pharmaceutists need, is the knowledge card in SugarCRM, which stores all sorts of data of hospitals and their pharmaceutists. If NVZA adds a datafield to the knowledge card, for example a new Hospital Information System, it is automatically and instantly be mutated in all of Kennisplein. The visitor can immediately search for it and compare it, for instance to other hospitals. Complete with a location card from Google Maps.””

Pastries                       

To celebrate the success NVZA treated Dennis and his team of OpenSesame ICT with pastries. ,,Which tasted very well. Everybody had worked real hard and going live, i thought, was quite exciting. We had it all figured out in detail, but there can always occur technical surprises. It’s so cool if it all works perfectly. It’s fantastic tob e thanked in this manner by your customer. Not just for me, for all of the developers in our team!”

Aftercare

After going live so smoothly, time was planned for several improvements and additional wishes. Dennis and his team are working on those now. Meanwhile, multiple initiatives were started to develop new functionalities and even a new website.
